Introduction

The nearest bus stop in the town is 1.2Km from the entrance.
The nearest train station (Rose Hill) is 1.2Km away.
We can arrange for shopping to be delivered on arrival.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is car parking adjacent to the cottage.
Car park is of level tarmac.
The car park is 15 metres from the entrance door.
There is additional car parking 50 metres away.
There is a small step of 4cms onto cobbles and a larger step of 16cms to the entrance door.
Main Entrance
The door is hinged to the left.
The door is 1.1 metres wide and the lock is 1.0 metres high.
Common entrance lobby
The entrance lobby is 1.2 metres by 2.2 metres and contains communal boot & shoe rack and coat pegs.
There is also a foam fire extinguisher.
Wild Orchid
The entrance to wild orchid is the left hand door.
The door is a fire door and hinged on the left.
The door is 80 cms wide the lock is 1.3 metres high.
The door opens in to a small corridor 90cms wide by 1.3 long and leads to the open plan kitchen lounge and dining room.
The property is on a split level with the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen on one level and the lounge/dining area down 2 steps (each 19cms high and 1 metre wide).
Dining room/Lounge
The dining room is open plan with the lounge and kitchen.
Square extendable table – legs on each corner, 63cm floor to lowest point of table (underspace), 1.75 metres long, 90 cms wide and 76cms high. Free space between table and walls is at least 80cm all around.
Chairs (movable) – 6 chairs with padded seats and no arms.
There is free space of 1.7 metres by 2.5 metres clear of doors and furniture.
Flooring is laminate throughout.
One double sofa.
One treble sofa extending to a double bed.
Freesat TV, DVD,wifi, hifi + ipod docking (+ remotes).
Smoke and fire detectors present.
Bedroom
Door width 80cms – left hinged.
Double bed – 137cms.
Bed height 60cms to top of mattress.
Non-allergenic, non-feather duvets and pillows.
Sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are cotton.
Largest transfer space to left or right of bed is 80cms.
Largest clear space clear of doors or furniture is 110cms by 120cms.
Bathroom & WC
Door width 80cms – left hinged.
Bath with flexible shower with grab rail.
Bath height 55cms with non-slip bath mat provided.
Free space in bathroom (free of doors and furniture) is 1.2 by 1.1 metres.
Toilet seat height 43cms.
Laminate flooring.
Release mechanism on outside of locked door.
Space under washbasin is free (no pipes or vanity unit).
Self-Catering Kitchen
Kitchen open plan with Dining room.
Worktop height 93cm.
Oven door is drop down, height of lowest shelf 45cms, can be accessed from the side.
Sink is 93 cm high with cupboards underneath.
Hob is 93 cm high.
Laminate flooring.
1.16 metres between worktops.
Evenly lit kitchen with extra light above hob.
Fridge with small freezer available, highest shelf in fridge 55cms.
Grounds and Gardens
Accessed through French windows from the lounge area.
Door size 1.16 metres.
Step down 19cms to a cobbled area on the same level as a level fenced grass area incorporating picnic tables (seat height 38cms, table height 72cms).
Outside tap + spray available.
Locked bike shed + BBQs on same level 40 metres.
You are welcome to explore the 50 acres of woodland/meadow which were previously the grounds of Marple Hall.
Laundry
There is no separate laundry, but laundry can be done at request and drying racks are provided.
SPA Area
This is accessed from the front of the cottages – the door nearest the livery yard.
There is a curb height 4cms and a single step up of 19cms to the entrance door.

Changing room and toilet area – door 70cms hinged on right.
