Introduction

The nearest bus stop in the town is 1.2 Km from the entrance.
The nearest train station (Rose Hill) is 1.2 Km away.
We can arrange for shopping to be delivered on arrival.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is car parking adjacent to the cottage.
Car park is of level tarmac.
The car park is 20 metres from the entrance door.
Additional car parking is available 50 metres away.
There is a small step of 4 cms onto cobbles and a larger step of 16 cms to the entrance door.
Main Entrance
The door is hinged to the left.
The door is 1.1 metres wide and the lock is 1.0 metres high.
Common entrance lobby
The entrance lobby is 1.2 metres by 2.2 metres and contains communal boot, shoe rack and coat pegs.
There is also a foam fire extinguisher.
Harvest
The entrance to Harvest is the right hand door.
The door is a fire door and hinged on the right.
The door is 80 cms wide the lock is 1.3 metres high.
The door opens onto a staircase 91 cms wide.
The staircase consists of 13 steps 22 cms high by 27 cms deep.
There is a wooden handrail on the right at 88 cms height.
The upper area has a modern toughened glass balustrade with a wooden handrail at 91 cms high.
Dining room/Lounge
The dining room is open plan with the lounge and kitchen.
Square table – legs on each corner, 66 cm floor to lowest point of table (underspace), 1.20 metres long, 75 cms wide and 75 cms high. Free space between table and walls is at least 80 cm all around.
Chairs (movable) – 4 chairs with padded seats and no arms.
There is free space of 2.1 metres by 1.5 metres clear of doors and furniture.
Flooring is laminate throughout.
One double sofa and one treble sofa extending to a double bed.
Freesat TV, DVD, wifi, hifi + ipod docking (+ remotes).
Smoke and fire detectors are present.
Bedroom
Door width 76 cms – right hinged.
Double bed – 137 cms.
Bed height 60 cms to top of mattress.
Non-allergenic, non-feather duvets and pillows.
Sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are cotton.
Largest transfer space to left or right of bed is 70 cms.
Largest clear space clear of doors or furniture is 120 cms by 75 cms.
Bathroom & WC
Door width 76 cms – left hinged.
Bath with flexible shower with grab rail.
Bath height 55 cms with non-slip bath mat provided.
Free space in bathroom (free of doors and furniture) is 1.4 metres by 1.3 metres.
Toilet seat height 43 cms.
Laminate flooring.
Release mechanism on outside of locked door.
Space under washbasin is free (no pipes or vanity unit).
Self-Catering Kitchen
Kitchen open plan with Dining room.
Worktop height 94 cm.
Oven door is drop down, height of lowest shelf 45 cms, can be accessed from the side.
Sink is 94 cm high with cupboards underneath.
Hob is 94 cm high.
Laminate flooring.
1.16 metres between worktops.
Evenly lit kitchen with extra light above hob.
Fridge with small freezer available, highest shelf in fridge 55 cms.
Grounds and Gardens
Accessed around either side of the building.
Comprises a cobbled area on the same level as a fenced grass area incorporating picnic tables (seat height 38 cms, table height 72 cms).
Outside tap + spray available.
Locked bike shed + BBQs on same level 40 metres.
You are welcome to explore the 50 acres of woodland/meadow which were previously the grounds of Marple Hall.
Laundry
There is no separate laundry, but laundry can be done at request and drying racks are provided.
SPA Area
This is accessed from the front of the cottages – the door nearest the livery yard.
There is a curb height 4 cms and a single step up of 19 cms to the entrance door.

Internal door to Spa area (push button lock) 80 cms width – hinged on right.
Changing room and toilet area – door 70 cms hinged on right.
Toilet height 48 cms.
Wash basin height 82 cms with vanity unit underneath.

Hot tub height 84 cms – accessed by two steps each 18 cms high.
Infra-red sauna door 55 cms width with entrance step of 20 cms.
Steam room door width 68 cms with small entrance step of 3 cms.
Large step of 40 cms down to sitting/relaxing area.
Additional information
- A welcome pack is provided on arrival.
- An information pack is present in the cottage plus menus for local restaurants/take outs.
- A single well-behaved pet is allowed in this cottage with prior arrangement.
- No smoking is permitted.
- Local maps are provided in each cottage.
